What does quality print look like?
With so many companies out there offering seemingly cheap print, it is easy to assume that one piece of print will be the same as the next, right? Well, this is not always the case. There is an abundance of purely online companies offering very low-cost deals, but what does this small cost mean? Is the quality up to scratch, for your needs? What materials are on offer? Is lower quality stock being used? Is this lesser quality collateral going to damage your brand image? The old adage “you get what you pay for” can certainly be true for print.
Online companies, for example, often offer introductory deals to whet the appetite. Yet these super cheap print deals aren’t necessarily offering your ideal piece of print. They are only ‘really cheap’ for very basic prints, once you start changing paper types, colours, sizes etc the price goes up. A good number of these companies are also just online, meaning they outsource all the work they get and it’s likely they won’t check the quality of the final products before they reach you.
At Newnorth Print, we are flexible and can print whatever size you need your artwork to be. Most online companies have set dimensions to choose from, but you won't find this with us. Costs can vary depending on materials, textures, and what you want to achieve with your print. We can make recommendations so that you get what you need to add impact to your brand; each and every time. Newnorth’s Five-star Guarantee means you can always speak to someone on the phone, in person, and clients are of course always welcome to come and walk around our Bedfordshire print factory. Our team has decades of experience and with a dedicated account manager for every client, you can rest assured that you are in safe hands.
We house a wide range of stocks and can always source more. So, whatever the project we can find a stock that will fit it perfectly, for both brand and budget. Let’s explore a few examples…
Newnorth Print’s Five-star Guarantee ensures quality print each and every time. This guarantee also shows the high level of customer service on offer, meaning all clients have a dedicated account manager and deadlines are always hit.
Lastly consider the type of print job you need. Both Newnorth’s lithographic print and digital print offer very high quality and it is hard to tell the difference between them with the naked eye; though this isn’t necessarily the case with every printer.
In a nutshell digital is perfect for short runs, or individually personalised print; whereas lithographic is best suited for long runs. Any good account manager will always direct you towards what is best for your print job, but it can be helpful to know the differences. Have a look at our recent blog for more information on the two types.
Whatever your print job, make sure you pick the materials and style that suits your brand best. Don’t be swayed by cheap deals that don’t cater for your needs.
